Established in 2008 Tucked away on a sleepy side street in Manhattan's affluent East 50s, Zé Café comes from a notable husband-and-wife florist team, Zeze and Peggy O'Dea, who have transformed the space (a former carriage house) into an earthy, elegant dining room filled with reclaimed barn wood from the 1800s, peonies, phlox, dusty colored roses and topiaries in terra cotta pots.
Executive Chef Sunayna Agha leads the kitchen, creating sophisticated, seasonal dishes. All menu items are prepared in house from scratch and the ingredients used are of the highest quality. All produce and eggs are provided by Zeze's organic upstate farm except when items may be currently unavailable or out of season. What you get is field to fork cuisine at its finest that embodies the modern aesthetic and eco conscious spirit of the day. We truly hope you enjoy your dining experience at Zé Café.
