Making a gastronomic tour of France does not necessarily have to involve an airplane and calculating the exchange rate- the Tour de France Restaurant Group brings the varied and celebrated cuisines of France to Manhattan, without ever requiring a trip over the Triborough Bridge. The eight restaurants each transport diners to a different region, inviting them to experience the atmosphere and flavors of France right here in New York CIty.

Two French Roast locations and L'Express please legions of diners 24 hours a day, Maison allows people to bask in the sun smack in the middle of midtown Manhattan, Le Monde opens a world of possibilities to uptown diners, Marseille and Nice Matin put a creative spin on the foods of those regions due to the talent of Chef Andy D'Amico and Pigalle is probably the truest brasserie in town. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner takes you from one end of France to the other, destinations that have long held our fascination for their beauty and culinary achievements.

To experience the coastal flavors of Brittany, travel to Maison. Continue the journey at Le Monde, a celebration of the cuisine of the Loire Valley. Heat things up with a stop at Pigalle, named for Montmartre's red light district. Head downtown to L'Express, where this Lyonnaise bouchon merges the traditional southern and northern influences of French cooking. Take a relaxing turn with a trip to Southern France's Cote d'Azur at Nice Matin.
Then travel to Marseille, a Provençal city with vitality, centered around a 26-century-old port.

Move on to Café d'Alsace where world famous Chef Philippe Roussel prepares his fathers native Alsatian cuisine with specialities such as Choucroute Garnie, Trout Almondine, Pike Quenelles, Foie Gras, Duck Ballontine or his famous Baeckoffe. Chef Philippe Roussel also offers bistro standards such as a black hanger Steak Frites, Moules and Frites and Quiche Lorraine.
The sommelier at Cafe D'Alsace is sure to pair your meal with either a beer from their incredible list featuring over 100 choices or with a fine wine from the multiple award winning wine list with numerous Alsatian great wines like Pinot Gris, Muscat, Riesling, Gerwurztraminer or Pinot Blanc.

Then to finish in Paris , to French Roast, for the Parisian café society's dishes of choice: Croque Monsieur, Steak Frites, Escargot and Onion Soup. Twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, one can feel very Parisian at French Roast.
