The new Mereday’s at Naples Bay Resort serves contemporary American cuisine based on the finest, freshest, often rarely-available ingredients sourced directly from artisan producers located world-over.
Mereday's innovative menus change daily and weekly and feature prix fixe options for lunch and dinner and a la carte choices for the bar. The restaurant has a full-time sommelier who pairs hand-crafted wines with each dish, and a dedicated pastry chef who creates desserts unique to the restaurant.
Charles Mereday brings 20-plus years of culinary experience to his new Naples namesake restaurant. He has cooked at top restaurants in the U.S., U.S. Virgin Islands and France, and has also been chef and owner of his own restaurants serving haute cuisine to casual fare.
Charles Mereday's early culinary training was at New York Times' 4-star Ryland Inn in White House, N.J., and France's 3-star Michelin-rated La Maison Troisgros in Roanne. He also served as executive chef at the landmark Zanzibar Blue in Philadelphia and was chef/owner of the Old Stone Farmhouse in St. Thomas in the U.S Virgin Islands. He is a graduate of Johnson & Wales in Charleston, S.C.
