In einem coolen Ambiente mit fernöstlichem Flair, möchten wir mit unserem Cafe den modernen indonesischen Lifestyle präsentieren.

Unsere Gäste werden bei uns die indonesische Gastfreundschaft erleben und einen kleinen Einblick in die indonesische Kultur und Esskultur bekommen. Außerdem können sie in einer angenehmen, gemütlichen und stilvollen Umgebung mit persönlicher Note unsere Hausspezialitäten genießen.

Neben geschmackvoll ausgesuchtem Kunsthandwerk und Geschenkartikeln aus Indonesien, bieten wir unseren Gästen eine kleine, aber überzeugende Auswahl an liebevoll angerichteten indonesischen Spezialitäten - inspiriert von den Speisen, die wir auch zu Hause unseren Gästen servieren - sowie exquisiten Kaffees und Tees, frischen hausgemachten javanischen Waffeln, verschiedenen Kuchen und wechselnden Menüs an.

Im Vordergrund steht Sate Banjar: gegrillter Fleischspieß authentisch nach Banjarmasin Art - meinem Geburtsort auf der Insel Borneo - zubereitet mit exotischem Chili & pikanter Erdnusssoße.

Besides a boutique selection of Indonesian handicrafts and gifts, we offer to our guests a small but completing selection of authentic Indonesian food specialties plus exquisite coffees and teas, fresh homemade Javanese waffles, a variety of cakes and a changing menu of dishes of the day.

Our signature dish is Sate Banjar: barbequed meat skewer, authentic Banjarmasin style from Handoyo's birthplace made with exotic chili and tasty peanut sauce.
