Hana Japanese Cuisine Restaurant is your neighborhood Japanese restaurant in Manhattan's Lower East Side.

Hana was founded in 2000 by Jenny and Jack Liu in Brooklyn, before Brooklyn was cool. After moving to New York in 1991, Jenny’s passion for interior design and Jack’s vision in the kitchen compelled them to start a Japanese restaurant of their own. The team has since moved to their Lower East Side location (est. 2009), because of the neighborhoods diverse “melting pot” culture. Between their love of food and mixology, Hana’s cuisine is artistic and the flavors keep the locals coming back for more. Jenny and Jack’s future ambitions include expanding with restaurants throughout New York and sharing their passion with the city they love.
