Portland, OR pop-up dessert bar - under construction, hang tight!

Flight is a pop-up dessert bar coming to Northwest Portland in January 2014. Flight will offer a seasonally-inspired menu of desserts, from new takes on old favorites to more experimental fare. These multi-course, prix-fixed meals take their inspiration from the bounty offered by the farms, forests, and shores of the Pacific Northwest.

More than just satisfy after-dinner sweet tooths, Flight is intended to serve as an edible gallery for those small, up-and-coming food projects that Portland has to offer -- from small batch, locally roasted coffee and wine to family farmers, urban agriculturalists, regional chocolatiers, beginning brewers, and all of the other food entrepreneurs of the region.

At the helm is Chef Nate Hamilton, who honed his skills at Spiaggia and Aria in Chicago before being named Best Chef 2013 in Madison, Wisconsin while running the kitchen at the acclaimed farm-to-table restaurant, Harvest.
