Originially opened in the late 1940’s, Cafe’tal Social Club was a popular meeting place for G.I.s returning home from World War II to socialize, play cards and drink espresso.
Cafe’tal is the last social club of its kind in Little Italy and is again open to all who want to enjoy old immigrant traditions.
We are not only dedicated to maintaining the quality of our coffee but also to preserving the traditions of the past. Our black coffee or espresso is imported from Italy and ground fresh on the premises. We also serve American “brown coffee” from local roasters. We are honored to offer you the best quality "charcuterie" style meats, cheeses and pastries from local markets as well as organic milk.
