I went to Bliss Lounge because they sold Bare Minerals. After talking to the stylists there I found out they did hair extensions so I inquired to see how much they'd run. Brooke told me that she starts out at $200 for taped in extensions, saying how she passes on the savings to her clients because she spends the majority of the money on the hair since they are so quick and easy to install, taking less than 30 minutes and lasting 6-8 weeks. I was excited and placed my $200 deposit and was told how she would find some that matched my color since there are a wide variety of suppliers. She ordered some of the cheapest Chinese hair she could find, spending $50 of the $200 I paid. The hair was blonde, and mine is auburn so she dyed the hair to color match, charging me $30 to do so on 14 pieces (half head) of extensions. The day she installed them they were dry and brittle, breaking during brushing. She loaded my hair down with hairspray so thinking it was from all of the product I washed my hair the following day with products she recommended from the salon. I had 3 of my 7 sets fall out and the color faded. I rushed to Sally's and bought tape to reapply these extensions. After hours of air drying my hair they were the same brittle, straw like texture as the day before. I texted to complain and got excuses. After every (total of 4) washes the extensions came out, at least 3-4 sets per time. The color went to blonde after the second wash. When I complained again to Brooke she made excuses and back pedaled on her information, I finally had enough. While taking out the extensions she promised to correct the situation by ordering better quality hair and getting it put in for me asap. She failed to order the hair, asked another stylist to call me and request even more money for the hair and when I refused because the amount was much more than the cost of the hair she said she'd return my money. She has yet to return my money and is now avoiding me. I have filed a dispute with my bank. Avoid this place and do your research on quality remy human hair so you don't end up with cheap stuff from stylists like this.
