Bi lokma ... We plan for the opening day to be February 14th the full operation will take some time so the first couple of weeks will be our trial period. We will start with a smaller menu to be able to make things correctly. To keep you informed we will continue to announce our progress on our web site. Thank you for your interest.
Bi lokma ... Despite the fact I have always searched and easily found new opportunities, finding this location of Bi lokma took 5 years. The reason it is harder to find locations is because so many people open food places in every empty space they find. Now the location I came upon for my new take-out place is in the middle of take-out land. So to be able to make a difference, I built a kitchen twice as large as the dining room to enable me to serve faster with a higher quality food.
Bi lokma ... means "one bite" in Turkish. The place is small and cozy and lends itself to this name. Of course the menu will be Turkish with a variety of soups, sandwiches, home style Turkish dishes, doner kebab, Turkish bread, other baked goods and desserts. At the same time I will be able to do my major catering from this location. I hope to make my 15th adventure in the restaurant business as successful and happy an experience for my customers and me as they all have been so far. Thank you for your ongoing loyalty.
