The second development is that the Chamber is being run by a healthy blend of innovative and successful business people, who know what it takes to stand-out-in-a-crowd. All these individuals are continually working hard for your benefit, without remuneration, to bring you the latest help, advice and support on a wide range of business issues such as marketing, employment, sales, surviving the recession and much more. So, you’ll be joining a group of entrepreneurial people who not only enjoy each other’s company, but who are also passionate about wanting to work for the benefit of the Worthing and Adur business community, as well as developing their own business at the same time. That’s a powerful combination.

All this knowledge and expertise is available to members, at a massively reduced price in the form of Chamber Chat Business Workshops, Breakfast Meetings and Open Networking events. The Chamber website is about to undergo significant change, to become more focused as a fully fledged online business portal for the Worthing and Adur areas. Knowledge is power, and we can help you boost yours when you become a member.

The Worthing & Adur Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee is a democratically elected group of volunteers. Elections take place every year at the Chamber AGM which is generally held in April.

Working sub-groups oversee the general running and direction of the Chamber; these are staffed by members of the executive and other volunteer chamber members. Currently the following sub-groups are active: Marketing and Membership (Philip Gale), Strategy (Sam Hallett), Events (Mark Landon), Finance (Ian Vickers) and Charity (Karen Simporis)
