About Olivia McLeod

Truth About Makeup is an online beauty boutique that's passionate about the environment. They collaborate with independent UK-based brands to bring you handcrafted natural skincare products that are responsibly-sourced, vegan and 100% palm oil-free. From cleansers and exfoliators to moisturisers and lip balm, Truth About Makeup's products are always kind to the planet and kind to skin.

Truth About Makeup sources all of its products from UK-based brands that share the same earth-conscious values. The brands they stock include Queenie Organics, which was the first skincare brand in England to be certified as palm-oil free by POFCAP, and Husk & Seed Botanical Skincare, which is certified by Leaping Bunny and is 100% vegan.

Truth About Makeup sells a variety of products for a range of skin types. It doesn't matter whether you have sensitive, dry, oily, normal, combination or mature skin – there's something for everyone at Truth About Makeup. They understand how much our skin deals with on a day-to-day basis and their products are designed to combat everything from UV rays and pollution to everyday dirt and sweat!

The company was founded by planet-conscious makeup artist, Olivia McLeod, who is on a mission to raise awareness about the unethical beauty practices that are still occurring in the cosmetics industry today. You can buy from Truth About Makeup with confidence; every product that they sell is 100% cruelty free – which means no animal-testing and no animal-derived ingredients – and every product comes in earth-friendly packaging that's easy to recycle.
