We come out 24/7, seven days a week, same-day where we can, and if we're late, $100 comes off the bill. Drainage went in through parts of the suburb in the 1880s and the sewer by the mid-1930s, so older flats and houses still drain through cement-jointed clay pipes, and the big trees south of Brunswick Street push fine roots into every loosened joint.
