"Summer camp is an enjoyable time for youth as it introduces them to nature, builds friendships, and teaches them how to successfully work together as a team. At the Christian summer camp Charis Hills Camp in Sunset, TX, the counselors strive to give children with developmental and learning disabilities a place to come together and flourish, both mentally and physically, through the activities and Christian teachings offered.

Founders Rand and Colleen Southard use their platform as a way to empower campers both socially and developmentally. Every counselor employed at this Christian summer camp is either a previous camper or has gone through similar experiences. This way the students feel connected and at ease during their stay.

Campers have the option to immerse themselves in a variety of activities while at this Christian summer camp. Some of the activities include fishing and boating, dance and music, sign language and geocaching. These activities are a great way for children to expand their abilities and learn about themselves. When the day is winding down to a close, the campers participate in devotions. Devotions are taught in a clear and entertaining way, so your child both understands and enjoys what they are learning.

For an exciting and rewarding experience, sign them up for the various activities and Christian teachings at Charis Hills Camp. Call (940) 964-2145 today to talk to an experienced member of their team or visit their websitefor more information on the different activities offered during your child's stay."
