My name is Ruth Ayala, my husband is Rogelio Ayala from Mercedes. We just had our roof replaced this past week, and the job looks good. We handled all transactions through Tony Velasquez. He worked with the money we said we could pay stating he made adjustments here and there to accomodate our price, which we are grateful for. We put our faith on Tony, as he made it very clear to us at the time that all we were requesting was included in the price that he had quoted us. The first thing I told him we needed was a "windstorm certification" for insurance purposes. He promised us left and right that the windstorm certification we were asking for was included in the price that he had quoted. We paid $2000.00 before starting the job, and the day the job was completed of course he came to collect. My husband trusted him and gave him the rest of the money, as he (Tony) stated that the following day he would bring the receipt and the certificate, needless to say he didn't make it the following day. My husband called him the day after, and he delivered the receipt, NO CERTIFICATION. My husband asked him, and at that point as a "professional" that he is, he stated, that the certification was not included. "Really", my husband was very upset, and reminded him that, that was the first thing we had specified we needed for insurance purposes. "he didn't remember". Things like these can really give a company a bad name, and leave a sore taste in a person's mouth, especially when you trust your representative to represent you well. I am needless to say more than anything hurt because of this, personally I do feel it is important to treat your customers, with complete and total honesty. All I have to say to Mr. Velasquez, is to stop making promises he cannot keep, and don't benefit yourself from a customer's good heart, and faith that they place on you.
