Woodwaysni is by far one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. Having given them the planning permission drawings for raised decking, they came in with a quote they said was necessary in order to meet building control. These two so called professionals did not use a single joist hanger. Nor did they tape the top of a single joist before laying the decking boards directly onto the support joists. They didn't seal the end of a single plank they cut either. Didn't brace a single upright support. Left the postcrete in such a manner that water pools around the base of the wooden supports. Made excuse after excuse as to why now of this mattered and why they weren't following the planning drawings. The decking also sags in the middle by a good 3mm so water pools there rather than runs off. And to top it all off, it failed building control inspection because they'd just run a handrail down the side of the steps meaning any child could fall a good five feet to the ground below. They also built steps leading into my garden which I had to completely rebuild. The top step was 5cm above the one below, which in turn was 8 cm above the one below, which in turn was 10cm above the one below, which in turn was 13cm above the one below. Between that step and the garden was a further 20cm drop. My advice would be to avoid these guys and find a company that takes pride in their work.
