Stick Puppies
A ‘revolutionary kiosk’ is coming to North Avenue beach this summer featuring typical beach fare, but with a healthier, more environmentally conscious twist. Rather than the typical hut selling fried foods and drinks loaded with tons of sugar, our goal is to provide ‘fun beach food’, yet not so unhealthy to our bodies or nature! The menu features items such as baked corn dogs, kettle chips, hummus, and reusable, BPA-free water bottles filled with purified Chicago water.
Our restaurant (lovingly referred to as our 'pup stand') will be opening soon (hopefully by August 4, 2012)! Along with Stick Puppies (our custom corn dogs), we will offer a variety of small snacks, drinks, and even fun merchandise.
Check out our progress on the Lake Shore path along North Avenue Beach, and be sure to make it to the Grand Opening (to be announced) to score a bunch of free treats and other goodies!
