Our Story

We are three sisters – Asma, Hanaa and Samin – and we are passionate about healthy food and healthy living, educating future generations, and building thriving communities around us. We’ve been fortunate to have grown up, educated, worked, and traveled around the world over the past three decades – raised in Nigeria and Pakistan and coming of age in the North America with rich experiences across Europe and the Middle East.

Over the past decade and a half, we have grown and evolved into roles of public and private educators, while building and raising our own families. Today, we’re bringing our talents, our passions, and our love together in order to build a unique concept in the Washington DC metro area – an inspiring space that provides healthy foods and sweet natured treats made from the best local, organic and non-GMO ingredients, a haven that allows mothers and children alike to pursue their interests, their passions, and build and grow their networks and their communities. We are driven to build significance and meaning right here … great food, curated and inspiring moments for our patrons and customers, and a breathtaking learning and play experience for the children in our communities.
