Fill-a-Pita provides healthy and fresh Middle Eastern food - 100% vegetarian and 100% halal.

Fill-a-Pita is a fast food company that provides good value, healthy and fresh Middle Eastern food to (primarily) the business lunch crowd. The menu is 100% vegetarian and 100% halal - mostly sandwiches in pita (Arabic) bread and dips.

Our pitaria has also started serving large salads for lunch as well as a small breakfast offering.

We hope to further expand the Singapore market's appetite for Middle Eastern food and provide new tastes for the many vegetarians who work in the CBD and those who wish to enjoy meatless meals.

Our menu has started off with a limited number of items and continues to grow with our customer feedback as our guide. Yet the intention remains to keep the offering limited to foster faster turn-around time.

M E N U (April 2013) :

SANDWICHES

Falafel (chickpea patties) in pita bread $8 – whole pita
served with tahina sauce, lettuce and tomato $4.50 – half pita
An option with no garlic available upon request

Fava (broad bean) in pita bread $7 – whole pita
prepared with cumin and olive oil, $4 – half pita
served with tomato and red cabbage

Labna (cow cheese) in pita bread* $6 – whole pita
served with thyme, mint, paprika, olive oil $3.50 – half pita
and cucumber - contains no garlic and no onion

*$0.50 per half for extra topping of marinated green olives

SIDES

Hummus (regular or coriander flavored) $2 per serving (80 ml)
chickpea dip with tahini, parsley, olive oil, garlic $7 per serving (359 ml)
and cumin. The coriander hummus has no garlic

Taboulleh Salad $2 per serving (85 ml)
couscous mixed with finely chopped tomatoes,
cucumbers, parsley, mint, onion and garlic
seasoned with olive oil and lemon juice.

Warm pita bread $1.50 per half

salads come with choice of three dressings -

Insights to our food preparation
• We use Extra Virgin Olive Oil in preparing our dishes
• We use Canola Oil, however, to fry our Falafels
• Our Pita bread is baked daily and locally
• Our food is 100% vegetarian (none of our dishes contain egg)
• Our food is 100% halal (so alcohol or pork extract in anything we make)

We do not charge GST nor Service charge (however, we go out of our way to provide excellent service every time).

Finally, we apologize if your wait time is over 10 minutes between Noon and 1:15 PM (our peak business). We would encourage customers in a hurry to come just before Noon or after 1 PM.
