Brandi Pizzeria - The restaurant and pizzeria of the Queen of Italy!

Established in Naples, Italy in the year 1780, Brandi Pizzeria boasts an authenticity like no one else – as the birthplace of the famous Pizza Magherita! In the June of 1889, during a royal visit to the region by King Umberto I and Queen Margherita of Savoy, Brandi owner, Raffaele Esposito, was invited to the Royal Palace of Capodimonte to serve up some traditional Italian fare. Esposito created a special pizza for the royals using only white mozzarella, red tomatoes and green basil leaves – representing the colours of the Italian flag. The Queen enjoyed this pizza so much that in homage, Esposito named this delicacy after her!

Making its first journey across international waters, the pizzeria has now opened its doors at The Dubai Mall. Bringing centuries of culinary skills to the Middle East, expect to enjoy traditional Italian cuisine at its best! Dine off chequered table cloths as the scene is set – with the pizzeria’s delicious food and rustic décor taking you into the very heart of Italy!
